A misinterpreted statement by Rick Osterloh, the Google Hardware Senior Vice President wherein he stated that Google is done building its own Chromebook. The reports are not all true, as it was clarified by Osterloh that Google Chromebook Pixel is not dead.

An observation stated that most people find it hard to get their hands nowadays to Google Chromebook Pixel. Rumors arise when reports circulated online about Osterloh's intention in taking abruptly the company's laptop segment. But clarifications has been made through Osterloh's official twitter account.

The reports are all gotten out of context and what he was trying to say is that there hasn't any relevant information as of the moment for the Chromebook Pixel. On March 2, Rick Osterloh stated that Chromebooks aren't dead just that, there are no important updates yet and they have no plans to share it this time.

Osterloh's clarification just made everyone sigh in relief, and by his statement, it seems that Google is now preparing something big about the lineup of Chromebook. His statement just made everyone wondered and asked what the future of Google Pixel holds. It can be recalled that there are only two versions Pixel laptops until now with the recent one made available in 2015.

CNet reported that even a look at the Google Store there hasn't any notebook or Chromebook Pixel is available. According to some reports, Google subcontracts to companies like Samsung and Acer long before they can make designs. Google also includes fabricating it to its own Chrome OS software.

ZDNet reported that there are several instances that Goggle Chromebook Pixel outsold Windows-based laptops over 201% and even Apple's Macs. But the information doesn't suggest any answers to future of Google Chromebook Pixels.

But one thing's for sure, Google is only building super high-end Chromebooks. Other brands like Lenovo, HP, Dell, ASUS, Samsung will soon revealed their own notebooks and laptops, so, Google better has a stand out designs, features, and specification to outstand again and maintain its market share.
