'Persona 5' Katsura Hashino Revealed Shibuya's Center Gai to Sangenjaya is His Inspiration in Creating The City of Yongenjaya
Katsura Hashino, the game director and creator of "Persona 5" was recently featured in Toco Toco, an excellent Youtube show. In the video, Hashino toured its audience and fans of his mastered game featuring areas that were used in the game.
Toco Toco is a popular Youtube show wherein it features the creators and Japanese artists and gets their fans introduce places in Japan that inspire them. Toco Toco is directed by Anne Ferrero, who worked behind the "Branching Paths," the 2016 documentary that featured life in Japan's Indie game scene, Forbes has reported.
The show is purely raw without script or guidance from the production and the result was explicit, relaxing, and amazing. The guest animators or creators required to speak naturally and just let out what they wanted to tell and share with the audiences about their life. In every episode, it featured different guests from all different fields.
"Persona 5" director Katsura Hashino has recently featured in Taco Taco. According to Siliconera, the episode follows "Persona 5" city of Yongenjaya, was inspired by Shibuya's Center Gai to Sangenjaya. Hashino further revealed and talked more about the things that keep him inspired and the places he goes to solve problems and to cultivate new ideas.
Katsura Hashino has worked a long time in the series of "Shin Megami Tensei." Also directed "Catherine" in 2011 who is a puzzler that has an intriguing moral heart. In the show, Hashino revealed his philosophy claiming that he does not want the players to think that he had some fun clearing it.
He wanted players to know that they acquire some wisdom that something they can use in the future. "I try to insist on creating that experience," Katsura Hashino says. Toco Toco's next guest would be Keiichiro Toyama - creator of "Silent Hill" and Ishiwatari Daisuke - creator of "Guilty Gear." "Persona 5" hasn't been released in West while it's already been debuted in Japan last year and is very popular, receiving much-appreciated reviews.
