Philips Brilliance BDM4037UW Review: A 40-inch Curve Monitor with 4K Ultra HD LCD Display with Multiview
The Philips Brilliance Curved BDM4037UW is the new top-end product of Philips's company that has a 40-inch curved monitor with a 4K UHD resolution. The BDM4037UW is aiming at professionals who need a strong color range support and an expansive workspace because of its ultra-narrow bezels that fit the large panels into smaller work areas.
According to ZDNet, the BDM403UW uses a vertical alignment LCD technology in a 16:9 aspect ratio, A-MVA 3LCD panel, and uses a native resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels at 60Hz. It has a White LED backlight and a 4ms response time.
The BDM4037UW also uses more than a billion colors and 85 percent coverage of the NTSC color range supplied by a hardware-based Ultra Wide Color feature. It has two modes that are supported by Multiview, the Picture-in-picture, and picture-by-picture that allows flexibility for applications.
The BDM4037UW monitor can support up to four inputs at once and runs with a high resolution at Full HD. Philips also includes a number of connectivity options like VGA, two DisplayPorts, HDMI 1.4, and HMDI 2.0. As indicated by Digital Trends, the monitor also carries a four USB 3.0 ports with a supporting fast charging for phones and other devices.
The usual black design palette will change in BDM4037UW, as it uses a glossy two-tone color shading in the back that combines with matte silver on the bezel and pedestal. A simple two-piece pedestal with a tilt adjustment that is aluminum alloy finished in a matte silver surface.
All sockets for the BDM4037UW are all mounted at the back of the casing in which all connectors and cables extend are placed at the right angle. The SmartImage that is exclusive for Philips technology, a user-friendly interface analyses the content and optimizes the display performance of the screen. It also allows the user to select various modes, like Office, Photo, Movie, Game, Economy, and etc. that fits the application.
