There have been plenty of rumors regarding Apple's iPhone 8 and one of them is that it may even sell more than the Samsung Galaxy S8. An analyst gave a forecast that the iPhone 8's new design and features may make consumers favor it over the South Korean-made smartphone.

According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, consumers will likely pander over to Apple's iPhone 8. The Next Web reports that this is due to the simple reason that Samsung might not be able to offer more attractive features for the Galaxy S8 compared to Apple's.

The iPhone 8 is not due until September but its rumored specs have fans and critics excited. It has been reported that the new iPhone will be released in commemoration of the Apple iPhone's 10th anniversary this year.

The iPhone 8 will reportedly have three variations with different displays with a bigger 3GB RAM and a better A11 processor. The 32GB internal storage will be phased out according to the rumors because the iPhone 8 will start at 64GB.

The new Apple flagship will reportedly have 2 cameras; 12MP for the rear and 7MP for the front which can support 3D FaceTime. The iPhone 8 will have a bigger battery at 2,700mAh. Like the Galaxy S8, the iPhone 8 is rumored to support wireless charging.

A new report from Mirror says that Apple has taken out the curved OLED display feature from the iPhone 8. Instead of looking similar to the Galaxy S7 Edge, the new flagship phone will likely look like LG's G6 which is flatter.

The new flat screen for the iPhone 8 is hoped to give users a better experience when playing games or streaming videos. The outlet adds that the new design will trend this year. Furthermore, the flat design considerably costs less than the curved one.
