Double Fine has announced that "Full Throttle" Remasted is coming on April 18, 2017.The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. Those who will directly preorder the game from distributor (Good Old Games) GOG will get a 20 percent discount off the game.

According to IGN, "Full Throttle" Remastered has been remade from the original 1995 game from LucasArts. The remade game will feature a combination of 3D elements and classic hand-drawn artwork to set the game. The music and the audio of the game have been upgraded as well.

"Full Throttle" Remastered is available for preorders on the PlayStation Store for $15 USD. Those who will pre-order via GOG will get the 20 percent discount or $3 off the original set price.

PC Gamer reports that Double Fine is also holding a sale for some of their games starting today and ending next week. Selected games have over 80 percent discount and include "Stacking," "Grim Fandango Remastered," Psychonauts," "Massive Chalice" and "Day of the Tentacle Remastered."

The outlet adds that the news of "Full Throttle" Remastered being remade was made over a year ago by Double Fine and original designer Tim Schafer. A trailer of the game was released in December 2016.

"Full Throttle" Remastered is a motorcycle adventure game. It follows Ben Throttle, a biker gang leader who was accused in a plot of murder. He goes on an adventure to prove his innocence and consequently to restore the Polecat bikers' honor.

It was also announced that players who want to experience the classic version of the game may be able to do so in "Full Throttle" Remastered. Furthermore, they have the option to toggle the classic and remastered versions at any time in the Settings menu.
