"Lethal Weapon" Season 1 Thriller: Is Riggs Getting Confined To Himself?
Everything in "Lethal Weapon" Season 1 was coming back to the normal situation. Martin Riggs was getting back to his usual livelihood leaving behind all the remorse for his beloved Miranda's death. But in Episode 17, Palmer dropped a major bomb which messed up Riggs' stability and thoughts again. He stated that the cartel was obviously related to the death of Miranda. This insight again made Rigg's life measurable.
According to TV Fanatic, Riggs seemed to completely break down again with this revelation, as he is seen to hold a gun alongside a bottle in Episode 17 of The "Lethal Weapon" Season 1. He seemed to be immensely angry. He wanted for justice for Miranda at any cost. And he was willing to do anything to get that. It was pretty shocking to see him put the ax down on the guy's hand.
However, it is also hinted by a number of potential sources that Riggs may have killed the guy if Murtaugh had not arrived at the right time to stop him from taking such wrong step; as per a report by Gosh TV. Therefore, it can be assumed from these scenes that the outburst of Rigg's anger has left a lot to boil. The "Lethal Weapon" Season 1 finale, dubbed as 'Commencement' was aired on March 15, 2017. The episode showcased Roger Murtaugh having a tougher conversation with his partner Martin Riggs. The situation seemed to be drastically changing in last few segments.
Besides all these, Riggs was literally shocked to know that Miranda's father: Ronnie was also involved in her murder. The question struck in his mind again and again that how can a father be so brutal to do such things to her own daughter. It should be noted in this context that Ronnie once advised Riggs not to make her daughter's death a reason for his excessive remorse. However, Ronnie was later seemed to justify his involvement in the murder as to save his other daughter and grandchildren. The "Lethal Weapon" still has the lot more to reveal in the upcoming episodes.
