Lea Michele 'Glee' Return After Death of Cory Monteith
Lea Michele is back on the set of Glee, and according to her, she feels right at home.
Just three weeks after the tragic passing of Cory Monteith, Lea's on- and off-screen boyfriend, the actress returned to work on the Fox show. Lea, who met and fell in love with Cory while working on Glee, sent out a tweet on Tuesday, telling her followers that she is back at "home."
"Feels so good to be home... #GleeSeason5," Lea tweeted, together with her very first image on the set of Glee for its fifth season.
E! Online describes the picture as the 26-year-old "sitting alone on a trunk in front of her bed, her hair pulled back in a ponytail and her arms resting on her lap as she stares into the distance."
Fox Entertainment Chairman Kevin Reilly also addressed questions as to how the show will address the young actor's death. Cory was reportedly found dead in his hotel room in Vancouver on Jul. 13. An autopsy revealed that he died due to a toxic mix of drugs and alcohol.
"The third episode will write Finn out of the show. That episode will deal directly with the incidents involved with Cory's passing and the drug abuse in particular," Reilly told E! Online, but declined to reveal specifics.
It seems that the show must really go on, and so does everybody's lives. On Saturday, E! Onlie also reported that Michele was seen out in Beverly Hills to attend the baby shower party of friend Jamie-Lynn Sigler.
A source told the entertainment news website that the actress was "smiling and having a great time with her friends." However, Lea made it clear that no matter what happens, she will never forget Cory.
"Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart," she tweeted on Jul. 30.
