'Splatoon 2' Update: Nintendo Releases Intro Trailers for Basic Weapons
The Japanese gaming company Nintendo has just released a weapons rundown of "Splatoon 2."
Though there are a lot of very familiar weapons in the new Splatoon game, the tweaks and changes that Nintendo has made a lot of the profiled weapons in the new game have fundamentally altered how players will be playing their role.
Here is a rundown on some of the weapons that are going to be included in "Splatoon 2." These weapons also have their own Trailers where players can watch and be more familiar with them.
Splat Dualies: According to an article on PvP Live, this weapon seems to be the direct successors for Splatoon 1's Splattershot Jrs, which is a weapon that features a high fire rate and close-up spread, making players who use this weapon dangerous to duel one-on-one, especially in tight corners. The weapon is less effective when fighting on a more open turf.
The new Dualies, however, have one significant advantage over its predecessor: a dodge function. This feature would make any player using the weapon a very evasive and slippery squid.
Splattershot: The Splattershot had the fewest changes being made to it that it's even hard to spot any changes at all, not considering the cosmetic redesign of the gun itself. It is intended to be the most basic weapon in the game, featuring decent accuracy and all-around reliability.
Splat Roller: Not only is the Splat Roller a must-have weapon during in turf wars, as it covers a wide range of ground quickly, but any player would truly love the idea of being a samurai squid wielding a gigantic melee weapon bigger than the player model.
According to Gamespot, there are still plenty more weapons and variants coming in the game that will surely make "Splatoon 2" a fun and action-packed game, similar to the original "Splatoon." The weapons mentioned above are going to be one of the weapons that will be featured during the Splatoon 2 test fire this coming Friday.
