Angelina Jolie, the New Face of French Brand, Talks About Late Mother While Promoting Guerlain Fragrance
The notable personality of Hollywood, Angelina Jolie, took it to the media and opened up about her late mother Marcheline Bertrand. The 41-year old who is the new brand face of Guerlain talked about her mother's care and the importance of this sacred union.
Perez Hilton reports that actress and humanitarian left this world in 2007. After struggling with cancer, she left behind two children in Los Angeles, Angelina and Brother James Haven after putting an end to her marriage with Jon Voight.
Angelina maintained that her mother was used to staying away from the paparazzi, media glares, and camera flashes. She was down to earth and had a humble personality. "My mother was a very natural woman," said the ex of Brad Pitt. 'She never spoiled herself, hardly wore make-up and wore modest jewelry."
While promoting her new fragrance from Guerlain, she connected it with her mother, making the report truly poignant. The mother of six continued that her mother adored Guerlain and it was the brand she knew from childhood. It represented quality and beauty and was the oldest perfume in the house, reports The Daily Mail.
The "By the Sea" actress added that there were a few special items when her mother wanted to feel special and it came from using Guerlain powder (Ladies in All Climates). Angelina established that it allows the women to feel acquainted with specialty and makes them feminine.
Marcheline died of breast and ovarian cancer in 2007 at the age of 56. Angelina is currently the representative of French outlet Guerlain. She has donated her modeling fee to charity.
The prodigy believed that her partnership with the French company had a natural tendency. It "spoke to her" as she has been associated with for a long time since she was a child as it was her mother's favorite. The official Twitter account of Guerlain posted an advertisement featuring Angelina and her partnership with the brand.
