Salma Hayek And Eugenio Derbez Finally Together As Estranged Siblings In ‘How To Be A Latin Lover’
Salma Hayek and Eugenio Derbez are finally in a movie after years of getting their schedules right. The two Mexican actors star in "How to Be a Latin Lover" where they play estranged siblings. The comedy movie is all about the life of an aging gigolo, played by Derbez, who finds out that there is more to life than seducing wealthy older women. In the movie, he will realize the true meaning of family as he has no other choice but to move in with his sister, played by Hayek.
"How to Be a Latin Lover" is a dream come true for Salma Hayek and Eugenio Derbez as they have been planning to star in a movie together for a long time, in the name of laughter, People reported. Hayek and Derbez have been talking about this for years but the Mexican actor could not get himself out of contracts. However, Hayek is glad that they finally got to finally work with "How to Be a Latin Lover."
On the other hand, Derbez was kind of worried after they have finished the script for the movie and thought of casting Hayek. He remembered getting anxious if she won't be available for the role. "Wait, what if she can't. We're going to be in trouble." After a little persuasion, Hayek agreed and now Salma Hayek and Eugenio Derbez are in a movie which will premiere on April 28.
Meanwhile, the "Frida" star is busy promoting "How to Be a Latin Lover." She was recently in Los Angeles, CA for a photocall where she wore a plunging dress with red polka dots and black high heels, Mail Online reported.
It's true that Salma Hayek and Eugenio Derbez are on their toes promoting their new project but this does not stop Hayek from being a full time mom to daughter Valentina who is nine years old.
Aside from Salma Hayek and Eugenio Derbez, "How to Date a Latin Lover" also stars Kristen Bell, Raquel Welch and Rob Lowe. It will be on the big screen on April 28.
