Mexican Woman Stabbed to Death by Husband Asked Help From Authorities 16 Times
There are multiple cases of domestic abuse. Women are mostly the victim of these types of crimes. Some of the husbands are high-profile personalities in different industries. Some women find it hard to escape their home under some consequences. They are troubled with the difficulties of having to start a new life without the person whom they thought would take care of them forever.
A 25 years old wife of Mexican origin was murdered by her spouse. It was also reported that after her death, she had called the center for women's justice in there are for sixteen times before her death.
There are multiple misconceptions regarding the case of domestic abuse. Many believe that the victim must be able to leave their home and ask for help to be free from the abuse.
The suspect to an abuse case will do everything in their power to take control of their victims. What makes the story sad is that despite having the victim call for help in the agency that would've helped her, she died a tragic death from her abuser because of the failure of the agency to take immediate action.
The tragic death of the Mexican woman may have been prevented. The incident had occurred in the previous year but new information had surfaced just recently to determine the story of how she lost her life from the abuse.
According to multiple news articles, the death of Vanesa Gaytán Ochoa was not stopped despite her being able to contact sixteen times the Centro de Justicia para las Mujeres located in Jalisco, Mexico.
Ochoa was reported to have tried to contact the agency for the last time last April 13. She was asking for protection from her abusive husband. The name of her husband was Irwin Emmanuel Ramírez Barajas. She lost her life in the hands of her husband twelve days after her last call to the Centro de Justicia para las Mujeres.
According to the Human Rights Commission, the agency did not exert any effort to determine the truthfulness of the report of the Mexican woman and that the agency did not do any act to determine if the suspect was performing illegal acts.
During the day that Ochoa was with her husband, she called her lawyer and told him that she was with her spouse. Her lawyer advised her to visit the mansion of the governor. She rode a cab to visit the governor's mansion. She had no idea that her husband had followed her.
Ochoa was standing outside of the mansion of the governor when her husband had hit her while riding his car. Her spouse got out of the car and stabbed her until she lost her life. The entire illegal activity was recorded on a surveillance cam.
The Mexican woman did not do anything wrong. She did everything she can to escape from her abuser. There was a restraining order against her spouse and he kept on violating it.
The husband of Ochoa was immediately shot by the guard on duty at the mansion of the governor.
According to multiple news reports, it is unclear whom to blame on the situation. Many people are like her who lost their lives from domestic abuse. The abusers from these incidents have different agendas and are sometimes under the influence of illegal substances that influenced them to perform such illicit and inhumane acts.
