Bradley Cooper is hard at work on his next movie, "American Sniper."

Not only has he gained weight for the role, he's also baring a lot of leg, Page Six noted. He wore some very short shorts the other day on set. The khaki-colored bottoms were paired with black boots and long socks. Some pictures featured him being watered down.

But it seems that his girlfriend Suki Waterhouse prefers him in uniform.

The two were seen in Los Angeles this week on the beach. She wrapped her arms around him, and the two went for a long kiss. While he wore a camouflage uniform, Waterhouse wore a hooded sweater, plaid shorts and brown boots. They were also seen hugging and cuddling.

"American Sniper" is being directed by Clint Eastwood, and it was written by Jason Dean Hall. The movie is based off of Chris Kyle's autobiography. The Navy Seal earned two Silver Stars and had more than 150 confirmed kills. Sienna Miller, Jake McDorman and Luke Grimes are also in the movie. The movie is being filmed in Santa Clarita at the Blue Cloud Movie Ranch.

Eric Close spoke about Cooper changing his diet: "He's really been working hard," Close said. "He looks great. He's really taken on this character. [Bradley] really takes this story personally and wants to do an honorable job for Chris's memory and for his family."

Clint Eastwood has taken to poking a little fun at Cooper because he takes so long on the makeup chair.

"It started because Eastwood thinks Cooper takes too damn long in the makeup chair," a source said. "And lately, whenever he needs Bradley and co-star Sienna Miller, he yells, 'Are the girls ready?'"
