Lately, the outbreak of the coronavirus, which originated in China, started to spread around the world and has already reached the United States.

The first-ever cases were suspected to have begun in a live animal market. When you show symptoms of the virus, you will be required to undergo quarantine for 14 days.

In recent news, it was reported that the Grand Princess cruise ship traveled from Hawaii to San Francisco was suspected that its passengers might have acquired the virus.

Experts tested the passengers and discovered two passengers were confirmed to be positive. Not long after, one of them died.

The other passenger, along with the rest of the passengers was brought to the coast of San Francisco by the public health officials for quarantine.

The cases of the coronavirus have also reached states like Texas and New Jersey. Another case in Seattle, Washington was found and one in Dartmouth was confirmed to be positive.

The office in Seattle was closed for about three more weeks to be safe from being infected and held the affected employee for quarantine.

A death in Washington state has been reported in the state of Washington and also discovered new kinds of infections. A total of ten deaths happened in the state due to the coronavirus and different infections.

A high school student was also discovered to be positive of the virus on Wednesday. The entire suburb in Seattle was closed due to the news.

Due to all these cases that have reached the United States, the citizens and including President Donald Trump was alarmed about the current happenings. The president wanted to do something about the issue to protect the people of the United States.

Stephanie Grisham, the Press Secretary of the White House, posted on Twitter that President Donald Trump will be bestowing his salary of $100,000 to the people of America to assist and protect them during the outbreak of the coronavirus.

It was reported that Trump's salary for the first-quarter was bestowed to the Department of Homeland Security. He has also donated his second and third-quarter salaries to the Surgeon General and the Assistant Secretary of Health Office. He will continue offering his salaries to other government programs that assist people on how to survive the epidemic.

The lawmakers of the United States have agreed on Wednesday to pass an emergency bill for the outbreak. They have discussed to raise $8.3 billion to fund the aid to battle the virus. The bill will also permit the Medicare providers to use $500 million of the funds to cater to all kinds of health services essential to fighting against the virus.

Citizens, especially young children and elders, will be prioritized in this particular health care as they are more sensitive and could acquire the virus easier.

On Wednesday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) explained the process and how the testing of the coronavirus works to the doctors so that they would be able to test other patients themselves when a patient shows symptoms similar to the virus.
