Zoom is a rising app that allows video-conferencing service of up to 100 participants at a time. The teleconferencing application, which was usually used by businesses, has fast become one of the hottest new ways for people to connect during the pandemic.
Zoom has seemingly replaced the well-known teleconferencing services such as Google Hangouts and Skype. It's currently the 2nd most downloaded mobile app on both the iPhone and Android market charts.
The free version allows up to 40 minutes of conversation, while the paid version offers more time and administrative controls. Participants can join using a desktop, laptop, or mobile phone.

House Party
House Party is a face-to-face social network application that lets you connect to up to 8 people. The app has been on the market since June 19, 2019. It offers the same services as other teleconferencing app but makes itself stand out with the built-in games you and your friends can play during a call.
Participants can join the app by downloading the app from the iOS or Android store. It's also available for Google Chrome and macOS.
