The NBA season is set to resume on July 30 after the sports league was put into an almost five-month hiatus. The first game will be played between New Orleans Pelicans vs. Utah Jazz at 6:30 p.m. ET and will be followed by a game between the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Los Angeles Clippers at 9 p.m. ET, according to a published report in CBS Sports.

This season, James is chasing his fourth ring with the help of Anthony Davis, who is searching for his first championship. The NBA Finals is expected to conclude within the first two weeks of October.

Having all the games be played in Orlando, it will give all teams equal footing since they will play in an arena, where all of them are not familiar with. That's the reason why scrimmage games were done in the past few days to give the players time to be familiar with the arena.

Meanwhile, these are some of the things that you should watch as the season resumes on Thursday:

1. Lebron James Chases Ring No. 4

The goal of Lebron James this year is to have his ring no. 4 with the help of other stars like Anthony Davis and newly acquired player JR Smith. James will do everything to have the ring and it seems that he is not showing any signs of slowing down.

2. Anything Could Happen

Anything can happen this season game. There is no home-court advantage and in-person fans. However, virtual fans of around 300 with the help of Microsoft will put screens on three sides of the arena. Moreover, teams will surely have challenges to establish their rhythm and condition.

3. Battle for Los Angeles

Since the season began last year, Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers are expected to meet in the finals and until now this expectation has not changed. However, if Lakers and Clippers can't have their rhythm in a new arena, then there could be changes in the coming days.

4. Kawhi Leonard Might Bring Clippers their First Ring

Kawhi Leonard became the key of Toronto Raptors got their first Championship in their franchise history. He is said to be an assassin and he might bring the Los Angeles Clippers its championship ring. If that happens, then it will make Leonard a three-time NBA champion with three different teams.

5. Jayson Tatum Taking Over as a Key Player

Since Kyrie Irving transferred to another team, Jayson Tatum is now taking over as the key player of the Boston Celtics. He averages 29 points and 47 percent in his three-point shooting since February 1 and if he maintains it this season, he could possibly help Boston in the playoffs.
