Who is Lara Trump?

Lara Trump is the wife of Eric Trump and has served as the 2020 campaign adviser of Pres. Donald Trump.

She previously worked as a trainer and a television producer for the Insider Edition. This just means that she is no longer a newbie on how politics works in the country.

Meanwhile, Trump's campaign adviser Mercedes Schlapp praised Lara Trump and described her as "very charismatic" and someone who "has a natural instinct for politics."

She also added that the president's daughter-in-law is a household name and people knew her in North Carolina.

Former White House counselor Kellyanne Conway told the Times that Lara Trump "would be formidable," She also said, "She has the trifecta: She can raise money, raise awareness of key issues and raise attention to her race. Unlike many typical politicians, she connects with people and is a compelling messenger."

Political experts believed that Trump Jr. and Ivanka are more likely to follow the path of their father in 2022. It just came as a surprise when persons who are close to Lara shared that she is also considering a Senate seat in 2022.

However, Lara did not personally confirm her plans for the 2022 elections.

Other Trump allies who might run

Pres. Donald Trump did not give any comments yet about the report over her daughter-in-law's plan to run for a senate in North Carolina. If she will proceed with her plans, Trump will definitely be supporting her.

Political experts also believed that it will be a tight race if Lara Trump intends to run in 2022. According to The Hill, some persons who are close to the president might also consider running in North Carolina. White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows might be eyeing a seat in the senate.

Other names also include Rep. Mark Walker, who, the president said previously that he would give support. Former Gov. Pat McCrory, North Carolina Speaker Tim Moore, and Republican nominee for governor Dan Forest were also rumored to have plans to replace Burr's position.

Until now, Lara herself is yet to verify these caims, but many political experts are already expecting that at least one of Trump's close relatives will follow in his footsteps. It is also not clear if Pres. Trump will run again for presidency in the next U.S. elections.
