After only 12 minutes of action, the Milwaukee Bucks has established they were in it to win it as they established an early 26-point lead during the first quarter of their bout against the Miami Heat. Big thanks to their 10 triples during the first quarter -- a record they now share with the Cleveland Cavaliers, who achieved it in 2016.

From their first-quarter advantage, the Bucks never looked back, securing victory, 132-98.

The Milwaukee Bucks' successful Game 2 is courtesy of their 22 triples made as a team, with Bryn Forbes lifting the benching scoring with 22 points in just 20 minutes of action, NBA.com reported. After missing in the opening game of the series, Giannis Antetokounmpo paced the Milwaukee Bucks' offense as he imposed his dominance on the floor, scoring 31 points along with his 13 boards and six assists.

According to CBS Sports, after setting a franchise playoff record for most triples made in Game 1, the Heat came in Game 2 with no firepower as they struggled throughout the game. The Bucks capitalized their early spark in the offense, which was translated to a 2-0 lead in their series against last year's postseason rival, Miami Heat.

Moreover, with the win, the Bucks will need only two more games to get a slot at the second round of the playoffs, but it will be an enormous task to climb as Game 3 will be played in Miami.

The Greek Freak's Presence

One of the major controversies surrounding the second-round exit of Milwaukee Bucks last year after they lost to Miami was the decision of Mike Budenholzer to put away his Defensive Player of the Year on Heat star Jimmy Butler one-on-one. But this time, it is a different story. Butler only managed to score 27 points in his first two playoff outings so far this postseason. Butler struggled on the floor, only shooting 25 percent from the field.

Also, when facing Antetokounmpo in Game 1 Butler only sank five points in total, but in Game 2, not even one of his four field goals sank with The Greek Freak guarding him. Butler was able to reach the 10-point scoring mark after he was able to get away with Giannis in some switches.

Furthermore, Giannis adjusting to the switches and coping with the screens given by the opposing team is a good sign for the Bucks for numerous sports analysts. They mentioned that the Bucks need it once they face the star-loaded team of Brooklyn Nets in the second round in the East. They emphasized the importance of Giannis in the switches as only a few players in the league could match the length and speed of Nets star Kevin Durant, Dairyland Express reported.

On the other, Heat continuously struggles due to the absence of one of their young core, Tyler Herro. Compared to his heroic performance in the bubble, the production Herro this season went down. In Game 1 of the series, Herro only made two of his 10 field goal attempts, while in game 2, he only made a basket in 18 minutes of playing time.
