The said content that Jennifer Lopez will produce is composed of scripted and unscripted film and television shows that will also showcase diverse female actors, writers, and filmmakers.

"We at Nuyorican productions are thrilled to find like-minded partners Ted Sarandos, Scott Stuber, Bela Bajaria, and the whole team and look forward to getting to work right away," Lopez told Variety.

Lopez also said that they believe there is "no better" home for them than a creation firm that "seeks to defy conventional wisdom" and directly cater to millions of people around the world "who no longer view art and entertainment with the kind of boundaries and limitations of the past."

Scott Stuber, Netflix's head of global films, said that their partnership with Nyurocan production would allow Jennifer Lopez to bring more "impactful stories" and inspiration and joy to the audiences globally.

"I'm looking forward to working with her and the team to create new series for our members to love," said Netflix's head of global TV, Bela Bajaria.

Bajaria also described Latina diva as an individual with "creativity and vision" that can captivate the audience and inspire the next generation from around the world.

New York Post reported that Jennifer Lopez would be a cast in two upcoming Netflix films. One is the film adaptation of the novel "The Cipher," and a feature called "The Mother," which will be directed by Mulan's director, Niki Caro.

The said Netflix films would be action-packed since "The Cipher" focuses on the story of an FBI special agent and a serial killer, while "The Mother" will be about a female assassin and her daughter.

Jennifer Lopez was reported to train for her role in "The Mother" as its production was scheduled to begin this coming fall.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Romance Continues

But the announcement of the partnership between Netflix and the Latina pop diva is not the only exciting update Jennifer Lopez gave her fans.

An anonymous source confirmed with ET Online that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have been telling their friends that they are together.

"They are both hopeful that about their relationship this time around and putting the effort in," the source told ET Online, adding that the ex-couple are both matured and on the same page.

The news about Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's romance came as the Latina diva was said to focus on her children rather than the affair with the actor.
