Prince Harry and William Show Unity Honoring Unveiling of Late Princess Diana's Statue
Prince Harry and Prince William set aside their feud to show a united front honoring their unveiling of their Mother's statue for her supposed 60th birthday.
The Events During the Ceremony
The two warring brothers stood side-by-side until they unveiled the statue created to honor the late Princess Diana, placed in the newly modeled Sunken Garden of Kensington Palace. The place is known to be a site of peace and solace for the late princess until her tragic death in 1997.
The statue made of bronze was created by Ian Rank-Broadley. His masterpiece sports Diana with her arms coddling two children with another little girl trudging behind. The statue was unveiled, surrounded by 4,000 of her favorite flowers.
The statue came to be inspired by Diana's official 1993 Christmas card, where she wore the same open ribbed skirt shirt and belt as she lovingly smiles at her two sons. The statue was complemented by the sons saying that it reflects the "final period of her life as she gained confidence in her role as an ambassador for humanitarian causes.'

The Two Brothers Speaks
There came a joint statement between the two royal siblings that said,
"Every day, we wish she were still with us, and our hope is that this statue will be seen forever as a symbol of her life and her legacy ... Today, on what would have been our Mother's 60th birthday, we remember her love, strength, and character - qualities that made her a force for good around the world, changing countless lives for the better."
The Duke of Sussex and the Duke of Cambridge also didn't forget to thank Broadley, Pip Morrison, and their respective teams for a job well done. They also thanked the donors and the countless people who still keep their mother's memory alive each passing day.
The original event supposedly was going to be a grand celebration to a now more intimate "private event" because of the state of the two brothers and Prince Harry's insistence on controlling the media coverage. The broadcast only started as the Duke of Sussex was about to leave.
The Aftermath
During the event, the two brothers were seen exchanging words after 18 months of barely doing so at all. Harry excitedly clapped his hands as the sculpture was revealed and had hearty talks from his uncle Earl Spencer, Diana's sisters Lady Jane Fellowes and Lady Sarah McCorquodale.
On the other hand, William was a stark contrast to his brother, who preferred to be serious and caught in the solace of the event. He left shortly despite him arriving 15 minutes before the ceremony had officially begun. It's unclear where the prince was heading off to but what was clear is that the two brothers, who are publicly known as having a feud, set their differences aside for the mother that they both cared about.
