WWE Pro Wrestler and Legend Terry Funk in Residential Care, Representative Confirms
WWE legend, Terry Funk, was confirmed to be placed in residential care due to multiple health issues. A representative of Funk confirmed the wrestler's condition on his official Twitter account on Tuesday, saying that the health issues affect the WWE legend's mind.

"Yes, Mr. Funk is currently receiving residential care for his multiple health issues, which do affect his mind, as well as the rest of his body," the representative said posted in Funk's official Twitter account.
It can be remembered that earlier, Don Muraco confirmed in his podcast that Funk was suffering from dementia. Despite sharing that Funk had dementia, the WWE legend's representative did not specify what illness affected the pro wrestler.

Ringside News noted that Don Muraco mentioned that wrestler Scott Casey informed him about Funk's condition. Wrestling Inc. also noted that Muraco mentioned that Funk was in his Amarillo, Texas. However, on the same day of Funk's representative confirming that the wrestler was in residential care, wrestler Tommy Dreamer took to Twitter urged the people to relax as he talked to Funk on the phone. Dreamer noted that Terry Funk was not in bad health.

WWE Wrestler Mick Foley Sends Tribute to Terry Funk After Dementia News Surface
After reports of Terry Funk having dementia surfaced, wrestler Mick Foley paid tribute to the WWE legend. Foley took to Twitter in expressing his thoughts about the issue.
"Terry Funk is the greatest wrestler I have ever seen. No one made it easier to believe than The Funker," Foley said in his tweet. Foley also retweeted Funk's representative confirming his condition. It can be remembered that Foley spent years with Terry Funk as his opponent and teammate in the ring. WWE also expressed their sympathies with Funk by paying tribute to the wrestler.

Terry Funk as a WWE Wrestler
Terry Funk made his debut in 1965 for his father's promotion. He was known to be a legend and a former two-time ECW world heavyweight champion and was inducted into WWE's Hall of Fame in 2009.
Funk's career in the wrestling world spanned about 50 years, where he spearheaded hardcore wrestling.
The WWE legend's recent match dates back to 2017, where Terry Funk teamed up with Rock N' Roll Express in a match against Brian Christopher, Doug Gilbert, and Jerry Lawler.
