The notorious Sinaloa Cartel has forced a group of hitmen to walk naked through Mexico's streets after they allegedly betrayed the four sons of Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman Loera, known as Los Chapitos.

According to the La Opinion, three hitmen were parading naked and barefooted through the streets of Guasave in Sinaloa state with a placard that read: "That happens to me through Chapulin."

An armed commando aboard a vehicle reportedly followed them as they were forced to walk naked through the city's streets. Daily Star reported that a video of the incident was leaked by the Sinaloa cartel itself and went viral on the internet.

In the world of organized crime, traitors are reportedly called "chapulines." Although the video alleged that the three hitmen had betrayed El Chapo's sons, it is unclear whether they left to join another criminal group or remained members of the Sinaloa Cartel but supported the cartel's other boss Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada.

El Mayo and the Los Chapitos were reportedly left in command of the Sinaloa Cartel after El Chapo was arrested and extradited to the U.S. However, reports suggested that there's an internal dispute for total control of the powerful Mexican drug cartel.

The Sinaloa Cartel cell behind this punishment has called itself "La Maña," which supports El Chapo's sons. According to local media, the location and whereabouts of the three naked men who recently paraded through the streets were currently unknown.

Feuds of El Chapo's Sons and Sinaloa Cartel Boss El Mayo

According to Milenio, the power Jesus Alexander Sanchez Felix wields within the Sinaloa Cartel angered the Los Chapitos and caused the split. Sanchez Felix is considered El Mayo's chief operator.

The Los Chapitos - Ovidio Guzman Lopez, Jesus Alfredo Guzman Salazar, Joaquin Guzman Lopez, and Ivan Archivaldo Guzman Salazar - is reportedly looking to assume supreme control of the Sinaloa Cartel and their father's former right-hand man, El Mayo, appears to be their internal enemy number one.

Reports said El Chapo's sons have also been at odds with their uncle, Aureliano "El Guano" Guzman. El Chapo's brother is also a high-ranking member of the Sinaloa Cartel.

The U.S. State Department has offered $5 million rewards for each of El Chapo's sons, who are subject to a federal indictment for their involvement in the illegal drug trade.

The department noted that the brothers have "high-level command and control roles" in a faction of the Sinaloa Cartel and oversee roughly 11 labs in Sinaloa state that produce 3,000 to 5,000 pounds of meth a month.

Ovidio, Ivan, and Jesus were reportedly brought by their father into the Sinaloa Cartel's criminal operations when they were teenagers to learn the ins and outs of the organization.

Los Chapitos' Hitman Says She's Ready to Fight With Rival Gangs

A female hitman of El Chapo's sons has made a chilling post on social media, claiming that she is ready for armed confrontation with rival gangs.

The Daily Star reported that the alleged assassin was seen in military uniform pointing a gun at a Mexican army vehicle in a video she posted on her social media accounts.

The female fighter is reportedly a member of the Cazadores, the armed wing of the Sinaloa Cartel. She is a veteran fighter who got involved in several fights with the rival Barredora gang, allegedly run by the nephews of drug trafficker Rafael Caro Quintero.

According to reports, the war between the Cazadores and the Barredora has been blamed for the increase in violence, shootings, and homicides in Mexico's Sonora region this year.

The Sinaloa Cartel is one of Mexico's largest and most powerful drug trafficking organizations. The Mexican drug cartel has been known to carry out assassinations, murders, and torture to protect its turf.

Both El Chapo and El Mayo were among the people who established the Sinaloa Cartel from the remnants of the Guadalajara Cartel after its leader Miguel Angel Felix Gallardo was arrested in 1989.

The U.S. State Department has already increased its offer from $5 million to $15 million for information that will result in the arrest of El Mayo.

On the other hand, a federal court found El Chapo guilty of drug trafficking, money laundering, murder conspiracy, and use of a gun in crimes involving drugs. He was sentenced to spend the rest of his days in the ADX Florence "supermax" prison after being sentenced to life imprisonment in 2019.
