Robin Thicke 'Get Her Back' Music Video: Paula Patton's Ex-Husband Gets Desperate [Watch]
Robin Thicke dedicated his latest album, entitled "Paula," to his estranged ex-wife Paula Patton and makes his feelings towards her even more evident with the latest release of the music video for his single "Get Her Back."
Without any hint of subtlety, his attempts to woo her back are very obvious in the video, which even features a lookalike of the 38-year-old American actress. The 37-year-old Robin Thicke sings to her in the video, vowing that he would "do anything" just to rekindle their romance.
The video begins with shots of Robin shirtless while intimate text messages are shown across the screen, possibly actual exchanges between the two ex-lovers. He sings about all the things he should and should not have done in the course of their relationship, also saying how he will wait forever for her to love him again.
Aside from the many close-up shots of Thicke's crying face and of him wiping away his tears, numerous and repeated shots are focused on his wedding ring, as well as flashes of a sexy woman who resembles ex-wife Patton. The video ends with him winning her -- the actress -- back.
Robin Thicke's newest and latest album "Paula" is completely filled with apologetic titles and messages, including songs with names such as "Love Can Grow Back," "You're My Fantasy," "Forever Love" and "Too Little Too Late," all apparently dedicated to Paula Patton.
Thicke said that he wrote the entire album in about a week and it is due for release on July 1. The two of them broke it off in February of this year after their nine years of marriage and many more years of being together, having met back in high school. This break-up ensued after a year filled with scandals wherein Robin was linked to other women in gossip columns and photos.
Thicke and Patton have a 3-year old son together named Julian.
