California Woman Dismembered, Killed by 'Snapchat' Guy Who Googled 'How to Be a Serial Killer'
A missing California woman was murdered and dismembered by a man she had been talking to through Snapchat, police said.
According to People, Felicia Johnson, 24, of San Diego, California, was reported missing in April. Police said Johnson went to Houston, Texas to look for work. Authorities noted that the California woman applied for a job at a local strip club while in Houston.
The Houston Police Department said Chukwuebuka Nwobodo, 28, remains on the run as he faces charges of murder and tampering with evidence in connection with Johnson's killing.
The California woman was reported missing after her bloodied cell phone and purse were discovered near a community park. But her body has not been found.

California Woman and Texas Man Agreed to Meet Over Snapchat
Court records showed that Felicia Johnson and Chukwuebuka Nwobodo agreed over Snapchat that he would pay her $500 to meet up with her.
According to Fox 26 News, the Texas man brought Johnson to his West Houston apartment. The California woman has not been seen since. And a warning for thousands of Houstonians who work in the sex industry was released.
Kathryn Griffin, the Human Trafficking Victim's Services Director for Harris County Precinct 1 Constable's Office, said anybody could become a victim of a villain. Griffin noted that every media outlet should let stories like this be known.
"It is so dangerous, and every media outlet should be screaming from the rooftops on how dangerous this is," Griffin said.
The Murder of California Woman Felicia Johnson
Chukwuebuka Nwobodo was identified as a suspect after officials learned that he picked up Felicia Johnson from an apartment complex on the 3200 block of Windchase Boulevard and took her back to his apartment, where he killed her.
The Houston police said the California woman was killed before her personal items were disposed of on the roadway in Bear Creek Pioneers Park, NBC San Diego reported.
In a news release, the police department noted that it is believed that the suspect "disposed of Johnson's body at some point within the next few days." According to investigators, Nwobodo bought a handheld and a power saw, towels, and trash bags on April 17.
Court records showed that he even searched the internet for things like "can bleach destroy DNA," "how to get away with murder," and "how to be a serial killer."
The suspect has also Googled the "most forested part of Houston," and "Houston escorts," which showed tens of thousands of results.
Griffin said she would estimate that sex industry workers in Houston were anywhere from 70,000 to 80,000. As a piece of advice, she noted that sex workers should avoid a meeting at a client's home.
According to reports, police found a gun, latex gloves, a kitchen knife, and a shovel in Nwodobo's car during a search, in addition to the victim's blood in the trunk and backseat.
Johnson's blood was also found in the suspect's apartment. Investigators also reportedly found pictures of a dismembered woman and three dead bodies on the suspect's phone.
Nwobodo was arrested on May 13 in connection with the California woman's disappearance but was later released. The suspect was not charged until June 9, but now he's nowhere to be found.
