Jalisco Cartel Hitmen Broke Into a Mansion to Steal 6 Luxury Cars for Notorious Boss El Mencho
A group of Jalisco Cartel hitmen has recently broke into a mansion in Mexico's Jalisco state and stole six luxury cars for their leader Nemesio "El Mencho" Oseguera Cervantes.
According to La Opinion, the residence's owner saw the men in his home in Lomas del Valle neighborhood in Zapopan municipality but was frightened. He later called 911 to report the robbery.
Mexican police reportedly recovered two Mercedes-Benz and a Porsche valued at millions of dollars. However, there are still three more vehicles that were not located. The drug traffickers reportedly took two Porsches, three Mercedes-Benz vehicles, and a Bentley.
Local media reported that the Jalisco Cartel had established its main stronghold in Mexico's Jalisco state. The reports added that even El Mencho's close circle lives in the state, from which the Jalisco New Generation Cartel or Cartel de Jalisco Nueva Generacion (CJNG) took its name.

Luxury Cars of Jalisco Cartel Boss El Mencho
According to Borderland Beat, El Mencho had a Lamborghini, an Aston Martin, and a BMW at the end of 2021. However, 25 luxury vehicles were already confiscated by the Attorney General's Office during an operation against the Jalisco Cartel.
Five of these vehicles reportedly stand out for their price: a Lamborghini Aventador, Lamborghini Urus, Aston Martin Vantage, Jaguar F-Type, and a BMW HP4 Race motorcycle.
Local media reported that El Mencho and his family love rare and eccentric cars, with some of his children owning some of the most luxurious ones.
El Mencho's stepson, Juan Carlos Valencia Gonzalez, known by his alias "El R-3," is one of the alleged leaders of the Jalisco Cartel. The U.S. State Department has offered a reward of up to $5 million for information leading to his arrest.
Laisha Oseguera, the youngest among the three children of El Mencho with his wife Rosalinda Gonzalez Valencia, was allowed by a Mexican court in late last year to remain free despite intelligence reports that she was involved in the kidnapping of two soldiers.
El Mencho's older daughter, Jessica Johanna Oseguera, alias "La Negra," was arrested in February 2020. Jessica Oseguera was walking into the Washington D.C. courthouse to attend her brother's hearing when she was arrested.
La Negra was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for her role in laundering money for the Jalisco cartel. La Negra's brother, Ruben Oseguera or "El Menchito," was known to inherit the Jalisco cartel throne from his father in Mexico.
But he was arrested by Mexican authorities in 2015 on drug trafficking charges. El Menchito was accused of distributing cocaine and methamphetamine in the U.S. from 2007 to February 2017. He remains in jail, awaiting trial.
El Mencho and the Jalisco Cartel
The Jalisco New Generation Cartel is considered one of Mexico's most dangerous and powerful drug cartels. It reportedly had more than 5,000 members and was allegedly involved in mass graves, kidnappings, acid baths, and video recording beheadings.
The Jalisco Cartel had risen to power after Mexican security forces killed former Sinaloa Cartel capo Ignacio Coronel, known as "Nacho," in July 2010.
Nacho's death resulted in the split of the Sinaloa Cartel into two factions - "La Resistencia" and "Torcidos." The "Torcidos" became what is now the Jalisco Cartel, which has since expanded rapidly in Mexico.
The Jalisco Cartel is still being led by El Mencho, who continues to evade capture. The U.S. government has offered a $10 million reward for information leading to his arrest. El Mencho remains to be the most elusive criminal and is reportedly hiding in Mexico.
