Deaths in the Hip-Hop Community
These kinds of deaths are not new to the Hip-hop scene. In fact, rappers who exhibit violence on social media either become the one who pulls the trigger or the ones at the receiving end.
One of the most recent shocking deaths on the rap scene was Pop Smoke in 2020. The rapper, who was at the forefront of the Drill rap scene, accidentally shared his address on social media. Shortly after, he was killed in a home invasion in Hollywood Hills, California.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is imploring anyone who has information about the case to contact them at 813-247-8200.
