There may be trouble in the paradise of Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and his Brazilian wife, Gisele Bundchen, as they reportedly had an "epic fight."

Multiple sources familiar with the matter told Page Six that the two had a heated argument over Brady's decision to come out of retirement from the NFL. 

The sources said Bundchen has left their family compound in Tampa, Florida, and has already flown to Costa Rica. Tom Brady reportedly remained behind for team training and getting ready for the upcoming NFL season.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen Agreed to Focus on Their Family After He Retired, But He Did Not Keep His Promise

The main reason for the fight was because of Tom Brady's unretirement. Sources close to the matter noted that the two have agreed that after Tom Brady retired, they would focus on raising their children, Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 9, as well as Brady's son with Bridget Moynahan, Jack, 15.

Another source told Page Six that Gisele Bundchen was always the one with the kids, as Brady was always away on the road, playing in the NFL. She was clearly not the biggest fan of her husband's decision to come out of retirement and play professional football once again.

The insider further noted that the couple had a fiery relationship, but the Brazilian supermodel was reportedly a "bit hot-headed" and "has that Brazilian heat." Tom Brady has shown that he is quite a loving father whenever Bundchen is away.

He regularly posts on Instagram about spending his time with their kids. One source said he was very much a family man and was quite the doting father.

Gisele Bundchen Goes Back to Work as a Supermodel as Tom Brady Continues NFL Career

In May, the Brazilian supermodel told British Vogue that relationships just don't happen and it was not the fairy tale that people believe it is. 

She added that couples really need to be in sync, especially when they have children. The model also admitted that while Brady focused on his career as a Super Bowl-winning star quarterback, she mostly focused on raising their kids.

However, as Brady returns to the NFL, Bundchen looks to make a modelling comeback as she begins working again. She's currently part of a new Burberry campaign. 

The second source told Page Six that she's still resentful that Brady is still the football superstar. As Tom Brady stays in Tampa Bay for Buccaneers training camp, he was recently seen looking quite downcast.

In 2020, the football legend admitted that she was not very satisfied with their marriage, feeling that he was not doing his part for the family. 

He also admitted that he needed to change that and be better at balancing his NFL career and spending more time with his family.
