Brazil's soccer star Neymar was dating Brazilian model and social media influencer Bruna Biancardi, but they broke up before the World Cup started.

While Brazil got eliminated from the World Cup in a shocking loss against Croatia in penalties, Neymar is still regarded as one of the best in the world. Because of this, many wanted to know who he was dating or whether he was single.

Before the World Cup began, the 30-year-old Paris Saint-Germain superstar was dating Biancardi. Neymar even proposed to her, and they subsequently became engaged.

Neymar had been in two high-profile relationships with women, both named Bruna. He also became a father when his former girlfriend, Carolina Nogueira Dantas, gave birth to their son.

However, as of this writing, the Brazilian soccer star is single, so he did not have anybody at his side cheering for him in Qatar.

Who is Neymar's Ex-Girlfriend, Bruna Biancardi?

Bruna Biancardi made a name for herself on Instagram. According to the U.S. Sun, she currently has around 1.8 million followers. Biancardi hails from Sao Paulo, and she is not just a model and social media influencer but also a businesswoman who owns her own clothing brand.

According to Sportskeeda, she and the Paris Saint-Germain attacker started dating in 2021 but kept their relationship a secret. They only confirmed their relationship last January when they announced their engagement on Instagram.

However, the couple broke up in August. Rumors of the split began circulating a month after Biancardi was seen without her engagement ring. Biancardi eventually took to social media to address the rumors and confirmed that she had broken up with the Brazilian soccer star. 

She also addressed the rumors that Neymar had cheated on her and released a statement, saying, "Don't believe everything that happens out there. I am very fond of him [Neymar] and his whole family. Please stop involving my name. Thank you."

The former couple did not reveal the reason for their breakup, but it seemed it was amicable despite rumors of cheating on Neymar's part.

Brazil Soccer Star Neymar's Other Relationships

Before becoming one of the world's best footballers, Neymar was dating Carolina Nogueira Dantas. He had his first child with her, and they named him Davi Lucca.

A few years after she broke up with Neymar, Dantas met someone special, and she eventually married him. But despite going their separate ways, Dantas continued to have a great connection and an amicable relationship with the Brazilian soccer star.

Neymar's longest relationship was with Brazilian actress Bruna Marquezine. According to GH Gossip, the two reportedly met in 2012 during the Rio Carnival, and their relationship lasted for almost seven years.

While they had a long relationship, the two decided to go their separate ways because they both decided to pursue their respective careers.

Marquezine previously said on Instagram: "We're no longer together. It was his decision, but we'll always have a lot of respect for one another."

At the time, her acting career had just started, and she could not leave Brazil with Neymar for Europe as he played for various European teams like Barcelona.
