The saga between Colombian music icon Shakira and Spanish soccer star Gerard Pique does not seem to be ending any time soon. This is after Shakira seemingly took a shot at the woman whom Pique replaced her with, Clara Chia Marti.

The "Hips Don't Lie" singer posted a message on Instagram, and it was possibly directed at Gerard Pique's partner. It was a photo of her wearing a hat, with one side of her face illuminated. While the picture itself was nothing out of the ordinary for Instagram, her caption seems to be directed at Chia.

According to Marca, "Chiaroscuro" refers to a painting technique of Italian origin that reached its peak during the Baroque era. In English, it means light-dark and consists of mixing lights and shadows in work, much like the image that the caption was posted with.

This may have been an artistic impression on the part of Shakira, as many took this as a shot at the woman Pique cheated with. She has not yet offered any explanation about the image, but it did have many talking that the feud is definitely not yet over.

Gerard Pique Says Their Children Matters More Than His Petty Feud with Shakira

In a rare moment, Gerard Pique talked about his breakup with Shakira when he sat down with the Spanish radio program El mon a RAC1. However, he mostly did not talk about his ex as many have hoped but instead talked about their kids, according to E! News Online.

He said that after the breakup, he only wanted to protect his kids, saying, "Everyone has their responsibility to try to do what is best for their children. It is about protecting them.

He added that in the end, the only thing that matters should be his children with Shakira, Sasha, and Milan. The former couple has agreed that the two boys would be going with their mother when she moves to Miami. In the meantime, they are still in Barcelona, and Pique can spend time with them anytime he wants.

The former FC Barcelona star did address the backlash he received for cheating on Shakira, saying, "The problem is how people perceive things or how the press packages it," before adding, "I'm still doing what I want. I want to be faithful to myself. I'm not going to waste money on cleaning up my image."

Gerard Pique Insists He Is Happy Now After Shakira Breakup

During that same interview, Pique insisted that he did what he wanted to do and added, "The day I die, I will look behind me and I hope to have done everything I wanted."

According to the Daily Mail, Pique then stated that despite all the changes happening in his life, he is very happy.

"The people I worry about and love are the ones that know me. I don't care about the rest. I channel my energy into being with my people and giving them what I have. I am very happy," stated the former Manchester United star.
