Twitter CEO Elon Musk appears to be one of the many who have their own secret and alt Twitter account, with the chief executive sharing a screengrab of his own account.

The Independent reported that Musk was planning to use the image to show how to use Twitter's "subscription" feature. The same image also showed in the part of the Twitter interface that is reserved for alt Twitter accounts.

Musk seemed to have confirmed in response that he is operating a secret account, saying that people would "never guess it's me!"

Searching for the image showed no results and there were no other details included in Musk's screenshot, making the account difficult to find.

However, one user came forward and claimed to have found the burner. The supposed Elon Musk alt Twitter account reportedly went by the name "Elon Test," with the username @ErmnMusk and had the same profile image.

The account sent a reply to a CNBC tweet about Tesla's FSD Beta with three test drivers. The account replied "Wow!"

In a November 2022 tweet of Bitcoin Magazine, the said Elon Musk alt Twitter account also replied and said "Oh no!"

The Bitcoin Magazine tweet was saying that more companies might fail in the upcoming weeks, according to the Binance CEO.

Elon Musk's Alt Twitter Account

The reported alt Twitter account of the Tesla CEO was created in November 2022, which was a month after Musk closed the deal to procure Twitter, according to Gizmodo.

The profile picture of @ErmnMusk seems to be a photo of X Æ A-12, Musk and Grimes' two-year-old son, who is commonly known as "X."

The toddler in the photo also seems to be holding a $300 chrome model of SpaceX's Starship, which is another of Musk's ventures.

One of the account's most recent tweets noted "I will finally turn 3 on May 4th." Musk's son, X, will also celebrate his birthday on May 4.

The account also follows some of the people who have been associated with Musk, including Stephen King, who Musk frequently had rows with; Donald Trump, who he allowed back on the platform; and NASA, SpaceX's ally on its space ventures.

The @ErmnMusk account currently has 40.2k followers, as of writing.

Gizmodo reached out to Twitter's press office for a statement regarding the matter but received a "poop emoji" as its reply.

Twitter Under Elon Musk

Musk removed some of the blue check marks from prominent figures and individuals on Twitter after he launched a payment scheme for the coveted blue check mark, which he calls Twitter Blue.

CNN Business noted that Musk made the process of verification "even less transparent." It added that the Twitter verification now reflects a kind of loyalty pledge or a "distinct sense of un-coolness."

Many legacy verified users had announced that they will not be paying for Twitter Blue. The digital newspaper The New York Times said that it will not be paying for the blue check mark, including some individuals such as William Shatner.
