Tom Brady is coming back to Foxborough, Massachusetts, during the New England Patriots 2023 home opener. However, the NFL legend is not playing, as he has no plans to unretire again.

This begs the question, if he is not playing, why is he back in New England? He then stated that the team will be honoring Brady in the home opener. He said, "it will be the beginning of many celebrations to honor Tom Brady and say thank you for what he did for us those 20 years playing for the New England Patriots."

According to Fox News, of Brady's 23 seasons in the NFL, he spent 20 of them with the New England Patriots. There, he won six championships before going to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and winning his seventh and final ring there.

It will be the first time the legendary quarterback faces the New England fans since leaving the team for Tampa in 2021. The Patriots also hyped up Tom Brady's big return to Foxborough with this Tweet:
