Rumors state that Colombian music icon Shakira is dating British Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton. Now, her ex, Gerard Pique, has finally reacted to these rumors.

According to Marca, this happened during a broadcast of the King's League, which Pique is a part of, and it was Argentinian soccer legend Sergio "Kun" Aguero who brought it up as they were talking about Formula 1 racing during that conversation.

The Argentinian asked Pique, "Do you support an English driver? To which the former FC Barcelona and Manchester United star answered. "Yes, I follow the one who is number one," but questioned, "Is the number one English?"

Aguero did try to tease his friend even further with the conversation by namedropping Lewis Hamilton. "I'm a Hamilton fan, I like Hamilton, what's the problem?" Kun Aguero told Pique, who was already aware of the rumors that his ex, Shakira, is possibly dating the Brit.

It was noted that Gerard Pique clearly wanted to change the subject, as everyone laughed when Aguero started talking about the Mercedes driver, who recently took 2nd place in Barcelona during the Spanish Grand Prix.

While her ex is doing his best not to talk about her possible new relationship, tabloids are pointing out that she may have been caught in the middle of a love triangle.

During last month's Miami Grand Prix, Tom Cruise was reportedly flirting with the Colombian, though it would later come out that she was not interested in the "Mission Impossible" star's advances. However, their meeting did overshadow the time she spent with Lewis Hamilton in Miami.

According to The Sun, the actor was "romantically interested" in Shakira before the rumors of her dating Lewis Hamilton surfaced.

The "Top Gun: Maverick" actor reportedly felt that he had "incredible chemistry" with the "Hips Don't Lie" singer, who may not have shared that opinion if rumors are to be believed, as she reportedly asked Cruise nicely to stop flirting with her.

For now, she and Hamilton have been spotted together on a boat after the Miami Grand Prix and then again having dinner together in Barcelona. A source says they currently want to keep their relationship "fun and flirty."

After she broke up with Gerard Pique because he cheated on her with a younger woman, rumors of her sour relationship with Gerard Pique's family began surfacing, especially with his mother. With the former soccer star's brother about to get married, though, it seems that she is not allowing her kids to attend.

According to Hola!, Shakira seems to be trying to keep her and Pique's sons, Sasha and Milan, busy on June 24, the day of their uncle Marc Pique's wedding to Maria Valls.

The wedding is set to take place in Barcelona, where much of Pique's family is. During that event, Pique is rumored to introduce Clara Chia to them.

Many of Pique's family seem angry at her for not allowing the kids to go, with many saying that she is "not flexible." Spanish press claims that "Things are very ugly" between the two sides right now, as the Piques feel that the children should also spend time with their side.
