Authorities are now looking for multiple Baltimore shooting suspects who shot up an annual block party in Brooklyn Homes, even setting a reward for their capture. The incident resulted in the deaths of two young people and injured dozens of others.

Police say at least two gunmen were involved in the shooting of the block party that happens every year in the southern part of Baltimore. As of writing, police have yet to determine if they had any accomplices in this deadly mass shooting. There is still not much information about who the shooters are either, though the reward for any information that leads to their capture has been raised to $28,000. It was initially placed at $8,000.

Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott recently spoke with CNN on Monday, saying, "We will not rest until we find those who cowardly decided to shoot up this block party and carry out acts of violence which we know will be illegal guns."

Scott also vowed that Baltimore police will be combing through "every single lead, every minute, every second of footage, everything that we have to find out who decided to disrupt this peaceful event in this way."

The two people who died were identified as 18-year-old Aaliyah Gonzalez and 20-year-old Kylis Fagbemi. Gonzalez was declared dead at the scene, while Fagbemi died at the hospital. The shooters also injured 28 others, including kids as young as 13 years old. Twenty-three of the 28 people who suffered gunshot wounds were teenagers.

Police also confirmed that the suspects brought at least three guns to shoot up the crowd at the Brooklyn Homes block party.

Shocking Video of Baltimore Shooting Attack Surfaces

As police comb through videos to look for information about the Baltimore shooting suspects, a new video surfaced regarding the attack. It showed people running from the party where the shooters were firing their weapons indiscriminately.

According to CBS News, the gunshots were first reported around 12:30 am. Those who were wounded in the deadly assault included two 13-year-olds, a 14-year-old, three 15-year-olds, five 16-year-olds, four 17-year-olds, five 18-year-olds, a 19-year-old, a 20-year-old, a 22-year-old, a 23-year-old, a 31-year-old, and a 32-year-old.

While the block party happened every year, police admit it happened without a permit, and authorities were unaware of it until hours before the mass shooting happened. Police said the event does not happen on the same day of the year and is not posted in the same social media spaces as in previous years.

Meanwhile, police are taking flak for their lack of presence at the block party.

Baltimore Leaders Scrambling To Assure Fourth of July Celebrations Will Be Safe

The attack was made at a public gathering in Baltimore. This has made residents in the city afraid to go out in public spaces, especially with Fourth of July celebrations expected to happen.

However, according to the Washington Post, the city's leaders are trying to assure the public that Independence Day events around the city would be safe, including the fireworks display at the Inner Harbor.
