Bronny James, son of NBA superstar LeBron James, suffered a cardiac arrest while in basketball practice at the University of Southern California, according to CNN.

He was promptly hospitalized, according to a statement from a family spokesperson.

Fortunately, there is positive news as he has been taken out of the intensive care unit and is now in stable condition, as mentioned in the statement.

"Yesterday, while practicing, Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest. The medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU," the spokesperson states.

The James family has requested respect and privacy during this time, and they will provide further updates to the media when more information is available.
