NBA star LeBron James and his son, Bronny James, have traveled to Minnesota seeking additional medical treatment after the USC basketball player experienced a medical scare last month.

The father-son duo arrived in Rochester over the weekend and has been seen in the vicinity of the Mayo Clinic, according to TMZ.

This move suggests that they are pursuing further insights into the reasons behind the cardiac arrest suffered by the 18-year-old on July 24.

On Monday, after one of their visits to the medical facility, the pair and some friends dined at Terza Ristorante in downtown Rochester.

However, their exit from the restaurant led to a crowd of enthusiastic fans seeking to glimpse LeBron and Bronny.

Video footage captured the scene, revealing Bronny James, dressed in a white shirt and black jacket, leaving the restaurant first, followed closely by LeBron James.

As they entered a waiting SUV, a group of fervent supporters surrounded the vehicle, expressing their excitement for the Lakers superstar.

Can Bronny James Make It to the NBA?

There is no definitive update on whether Bronny James' aspirations of making it to the NBA will be realized following the recent scare.

His college team, the USC Trojans, undertook a series of preparatory matches in Greece, but Bronny did not accompany them, per Sportskeeda.

Considering the situation, Dr. Brian Sutterer, a reputable physician with a substantial following on YouTube, discussed Bronny James' basketball future.

He emphasized the gravity of the matter and underscored the uncertainty surrounding the risks involved in resuming play without a clear understanding of the underlying cause.

Dr. Sutterer emphasized the potential long-term implications on LeBron James' son's career, contingent on the course of action that needs to be taken based on the findings.

Another example within the basketball realm is Shareef O'Neal, the son of Shaquille O'Neal, who was also on the trajectory to NBA stardom.

However, a congenital heart defect detected in 2018 necessitated open-heart surgery, significantly altering his path.

Shareef and Bronny, both sons of NBA icons, share a camaraderie and have been seen spending time together.

Following the cardiac incident involving Bronny, Shareef extended his support by reaching out to him, offering a source of insight and guidance during this challenging time.

Bronny James Cardiac Arrest

Hollywood Life noted that Bronny James experienced a cardiac arrest while practicing with the USC basketball team on July 24.

He was promptly transported to the hospital, and the confirmation of the incident came from the family a day later.

Following medical care, Bronny was discharged from the hospital on July 27.

The young basketball star had undergone a cardiac arrest screening a few months prior, with both screenings yielding normal results.

These findings implied that his recent health scare might not have been linked to a pre-existing anatomical condition. However, a medical expert has not officially verified these conclusions.

LeBron James expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of support on July 27 through a tweet, acknowledging the numerous individuals sending love and prayers to his family.

One day after being released from the hospital, Bronny was spotted at a family dinner alongside his father, LeBron James; his mother, Savannah; and his two siblings.

His appearance exuded vitality and positive spirits, indicating that he was in good health and high spirits during the outing.
