A lawsuit has been filed against Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill by social media influencer Sophie Hall, who alleges that Hill forcefully shoved her during a football drill at his South Florida home last summer, according to AP News.

Hall, known for her presence on social media with over 2 million followers, is seeking up to $75,000 in damages and has accused Hill of battery, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligence.

According to Tyreek Hill's lawsuit filed in Broward County Circuit court on February 23, the social media influencer participated in a football drill at Hill's Southwest Ranches mansion.

During the drill, Hill was allegedly knocked backward by Hall, leading to him becoming "humiliated."

This purportedly resulted in Hill charging at Hall violently and forcefully, causing her to sustain a right leg fracture that required surgery with metal hardware implantation.

Dolphins general manager Chris Grier, when asked about the incident, mentioned that they were made aware of it and are in communication with NFL security.

However, he refrained from commenting until they gathered all the information about the incident.

Hill was traded to the Dolphins from the Kansas City Chiefs in March 2022.

The Tyreek Hill lawsuit describes Sophie Hall as a model, actress, and influencer who met Hill in May 2023 after buying a ticket for her son to attend Hill's summer football camp in Boca Raton, Florida.

Following the registration, Hill messaged Hall on Instagram, expressing a desire to meet and get to know her.

Their communication continued, with Hill sharing his cellphone number and inviting Hall to his home.

The lawsuit alleges that Hill, an All-Pro receiver, covered flight and travel arrangements for Hall to stay with him for a few days.

Details of the Football Drill Incident

During the offensive line blocking drill on June 28, 2023, Hall claims to have successfully pushed Hill backward on her first defensive-line repetition, Yahoo! Sports noted.

This reportedly led to Hill feeling embarrassed and angry, insisting on changing positions for the drill.

The third repetition saw the social media influencer, Sophie Hall, holding her own, but on the fourth, Hill allegedly charged into her violently, leaving her in excruciating pain.

Hall was later diagnosed with a fracture in her right leg, supported by pictures and X-rays included in the lawsuit. Screenshots of Instagram direct messages from Hill to Hall following her son's enrollment in Hill's football camp are also part of the legal filing.

Tyreek Hill's Legal History

Tyreek Hill, who signed a four-year, $120 million deal with the Miami Dolphins in 2022, has faced legal issues in the past, The Athletic reports.

Notably, he pleaded guilty to domestic violence charges in 2015 and reached a settlement in 2023 after allegations of hitting a marina employee during a dispute.

Police in Kansas investigated him for potential child abuse in 2019, but no charges were filed.

As of now, the Dolphins have not provided an immediate response, and court documents did not list an attorney for Tyreek Hill.

Tyreek Hill's representation from a previous 2023 settlement mentioned he is not involved in this case, while Sophie Hall's attorneys have not yet responded to requests for comment.

The lawsuit adds another legal chapter to Tyreek Hill's history, raising questions about the incident's implications on his off-field conduct.
