Drake Drama Continues as Man Arrested For Trying to Break Into His Toronto Mansion a Day After Near-Fatal Shooting There
Just a day after a security guard was shot and almost killed in a drive-by shooting at Drake's mansion in Toronto, another man was arrested for trying to break into the rapper's home. As this is happening, Drake is also in the middle of a feud with Kendrick Lamar, fueling speculation that he may be behind the attack.
In this latest incident involving Drake's mansion, a man was detained by Toronto police after he allegedly tried to break into the rapper's home. The mansion was recently cordoned off as police were trying to investigate the drive-by shooting, but this did not stop the man from trying to break in.
The man failed to gain access to the embattled rapper's home as he was stopped by security guards who then handed him over to the police. Drake's guards are still on high alert following the shooting, as one of them is still critically injured from the attack the day before.
Police are still investigating the shooting, with Drake's team cooperating with the Toronto police in the investigation, according to Yahoo! News.
"This is no different than any other investigation. It's maybe more high profile because there's more people here, but we treat it like any other incident," Inspector Paul Krawczyk with the Toronto Police Service's Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force told reporters. "We'll be using all our resources. Our teams will be doing as much as they can to investigate this."
Man Who Tried To Break Into Drake's Toronto Mansion Had Nothing To Do With Shooting
In a statement by Toronto Police to Sky News. they stated that the incident happened on Wednesday and "officers were called after a person attempted to gain access to the property."

"The person was apprehended under the Mental Health Act, and they were taken to receive medical attention," police added, hinting that there is a possibility that the man who tried to break into Drake's mansion while security was on high alert had mental health problems. The man was stopped at the gate by security.
Police also confirmed that the attempted break-in has "nothing to do with the investigation from" the shooting. Police also did not specify the exact location of where the man tried to enter.
Investigation About Attack on Drake Mansion the Day Before Still Ongoing
So far, the drive-by shooting attack on Drake's mansion is still being investigated, with the suspects still at large and their identities still not known to the public. It was not known if Drake himself was in the mansion when the attack happened, but it was reported that he is uninjured.
Toronto police have also admitted that they are well aware of the feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar and have not ruled out Lamar's involvement yet. The two rappers have recently intensified their feud and have been dropping diss tracks against one another at a higher rate than previously.
As for the security guard, he was rushed to a hospital and is in critical condition. He was shot in the chest.
