Amazon Prime Video's "The Boys" has always been political, and in its latest dig at the far right, the show introduced a new character named Firecracker, who is based on infamous Georgia Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, best known for her Jewish space lasers conspiracy theories and harassing school shooting victims while thumping the Bible.

"The Boys" series showrunner Eric Kripke was the one who confirmed this, saying, "Firecracker came from like, 'Hey, isn't Marjorie Taylor Greene scary?'"

Firecracker is a born-again Christian Supe who was formerly known as Sparkler. She is known for her anti-LGBTQ rhetoric much like Greene, and is also known for her love of guns. She also loves to spread conspiracy theories while also not presenting much evidence, much like her real-life inspiration.

"You had Trump, but now you have these Trump spawn that are trying to outdo each other for how outrageous and sexualized and gun-toting and slavishly obedient they can be," added Kripke, who did not name any other post-Trump Republican politicians aside from Greene as inspiration for other characters.

Slashfilm noted that the show reflected on the misinformation happening in the political landscape today, as Kripke confirmed that "The show's not subtle. It wears its politics on its sleeve," adding, "And it's funny to rip on the madness on the right, and we get some shots in on the left of all the performative wokeness and everything."

"Just that idea - it wouldn't just start and end with Homelander, he would start to create these spores that would grow into these other characters," added "The Boys" showrunner regarding Firecracker.

Marjorie Taylor Greene Claims Democrats Are Spreading 'Gay Porn' in Libraries

Meanwhile, the real-life inspiration for Firecracker is proving "The Boys" right in depicting her that way, as she continued to spread even more conspiracy theories without presenting actual evidence.

According to MSN, the Georgia Republican accused Democrats of wanting to put "gay porn" in schools so she could respond to criticisms of the Republican party's opposition to free school lunches.

Ohio state Rep. Casey Weinstein, a Democrat, slammed Republicans for prioritizing placing the Ten Commandments overfeeding children, which stemmed from House Republicans proposing banning states from offering universal free school lunches. Greene responded by hurling baseless conspiracy theories, including saying that Democrats want to "stock the elementary school libraries' shelves with gay porn.

Jasmine Crockett Tells Backstory of Her Viral Diss Against Marjorie Taylor Greene

Meanwhile, one of Greene's many nemeses in the House, Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Texas, recently talked about her now-viral clapback against the MAGA congresswoman when she appeared as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

"Marjorie is a little slow," she said, before describing Greene's ad hominem attack on her during a hearing where the Republican insulted her eyelashes. She then stated that the Democrats were becoming impatient after Greene and other Republicans flew to New York to attend Trump's hearing, and when they finally showed up, she was pretty upset.

"So now I'm upset because it's already late at night, I've been here all day, ready to work, y'all weren't here, and you're still talking about that failed trial," she told Kimmel. "So, I had to ask her if she understood, because she's not the brightest, and ultimately..."

"She attacked you," completed the comedian, to which Crockett confirmed that "She did." This was when Crockett stated her infamous line, where she said, "I'm just curious, just to better understand your ruling. If someone on this committee then starts talking about somebody's bleach blond, bad-built, butch body, that would not be engaging in personalities, correct?"
