This week it was reported that Wes Bentley will appear on "American Horror Story: Freak Show."

Bentley gained fame as Ricky Fitts in 1999's "American Beauty." More recently, he played gamemaker Seneca Crane in 2012's movie adaptation of "The Hunger Games" and has several projects in the works according to IMDb.

According to TVLine, Bentley will be featured in a two-part episode on Season 4 of "American Horror Story." The website reports that the 35-year-old actor will be seen in a special Halloween story, which has tentative premiere dates of Oct. 21 and Oct. 28. His character is said to be Eddy, a "dark tormentor" that knew Kathy Bates' character in the past, who is "hell-bent" on getting revenge. Entertainment Weekly reports that the character is also a "shady figure."

Neither Bentley nor those behind "American Horror Story: Freak Show" have commented on the report.

Bentley has worked with Ryan Murphy, "American Horror Story" co-creator and executive producer, for the HBO pilot "Open" as Evan, according to Deadline.

"American Horror Story: Freak Show" takes place in 1950s Jupiter, Florida. It will be the last season for Jessica Lange, who plays a German woman managing one of the last freak shows left in the U.S. Sarah Paulson will play a two-headed woman. TVGuide previously reported that Bates and Evan Peters will be freaks. Angela Bassett will also be a freak but has hinted that she is not the bearded lady. Denis O'Hare revealed he is a "collector of freaks" this season. Finally, Murphy recently shared that new castmember Michael Chiklis will be a strongman who is Bates' character's ex, the father of Peters' character and the husband of Bassett's character.

"He has scenes with Angela, and Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates," Murphy told TVLine. "I love the part because it's really written to be quite vulnerable, which is something I think Michael does so well: the strongman who's vulnerable."

Season 4 of the series is scheduled to premiere on FX in October.
