Rory McIlroy is still in a good position to grab his fourth major title heading into the final round of the 2014 PGA Tour on Sunday in Louisville, Kentucky.

McIlroy, who is the favorite to win this year's tour after strong performances in the first two days, finished 4-under 67 on Saturday, enough to take a one-shot lead over Bernd Wiesberger. USA's Rickie Fowler is in solo third, while Phil Mickelson and Jason Day are tied for fourth.

In winning his first three major titles, McIlroy also led heading into the final round. He led by eight shots heading into the last round of the 2011 U.S. Open, three shots during the 2012 PGA Championship, and six shots in last month's British Open.

The Northern Ireland native admitted, though, that things will feel a bit different on Sunday compared to this year's British Open, knowing that he is just one-shot ahead of Wiesberger and two-shots ahead of Fowler.

"Tomorrow standing on the first tee is going to feel different than how it felt a month ago at Hoylake because you don't have that. It is going to be a shootout," McIlroy said via ESPN. "You know the conditions are soft. Guys are going to make birdies. And you know that you're going to have to make birdies as well."

On the other hand, Wiesberger, who closed Saturday's round with three straight birdies, said that he will just enjoy the final round, pointing out that he has already overachieved in the tournament.

"I've not been in a contention in a major championship, so I don't know how it's going to turn out," Wiesberger said. "I'm just trying to enjoy it as I did today. From now on, it's just a bonus, really."
