The professional dancers for Season 19 of "Dancing With the Stars" was announced on Wednesday.

Next season's professional dancers were announced during an episode of "Good Morning America," ABC News reported.

As Season 18 professional dancer winner Maksim Chmerkovskiy previously announced, he will not be a professional dancer competitor for Season 19, and Wednesday's list of dancers confirmed that.

Derek Hough, on the other hand, who previously said he was not positive if he would compete in Season 19, is in fact on the list and will have a chance to win the mirrorball trophy for a "Dancing With the Stars" record of six times. Former competitors returning to the stage also include Witney Carson and Peta Murgatroyd.

In addition, some fresh faces will try to dance their way into voters' hearts this fall. The upcoming season of the ABC dancing competition show will feature three new professional dancers: Artem Chigvintsev, Allison Holker and Keoikantse "Keo" Motsepe.

Season 19's celebrity competitors will not be announced until Sept. 4, on another episode of "Good Morning America."

The next season of "Dancing With the Stars" begins with a two-hour premiere on Sept. 15 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

In late July, Chmerkovskiy further detailed his decision not to compete on the show anymore, which he originally blamed on exhaustion.

"When I came back to the show, it was not the same," Chmerkovskiy said on an episode of "The View." "I was different, probably. ... When I came back, I saw this amazing talent, Val [ his brother] included. ... I looked at it and thought they can do much more and better; I was taking up a huge spot."

It is still possible for Chmerkovskiy to participate in Season 19 in another role.
