Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé may be in each other's social circles, but there have always been rumors that the two just aren't friends.

The piece of gossip has persisted, and now Kim Kardashian is reportedly giving up on being friends with Beyoncé, according to Woman's Day.

The two attended the MTV Video Music Awards, but instead of sitting together, they were on opposite sides of the room.

"There was absolutely no love lost between Kim and Beyonce," said a source.

Although the rumors have been around since Kardashian and West started dating, the source said it became worse after Beyonce and Jay Z skipped Kardashian and West's Florence wedding.

"Kim blames Beyonce for Jay Z skipping their wedding," said the source. "Kanye considered Jay family, and the last minute decision for him to not come to their wedding was extremely selfish. She (Kim) has absolutely no use for Beyonce and Jay, and doesn't think they are worthy to be friends with Kanye."

Beyoncé did send Kardashian a message through Instagram.

She used the couple's Vogue shoot to congratulate them.

She said, "Wishing you a lifetime of unconditional love. God bless your beautiful family."

But a source said that Kardashian has tried to get to know Beyoncé and Jay Z, and she has only been met with arrogance and aloofness from the singer. Also, Beyoncé has also supposedly made Kardashian feel insecure.

"For a very long time, Kim didn't tell Kanye how she felt, but after Jay skipped out on their wedding, she let it all come out," the source added.

The VMAs would be the first event the two attended after Beyoncé and Jay Z skipped the wedding.

Kris Jenner previously explained that no one really thought about the couple missing the wedding, and she assumed the two were just busy because of work.
