Jessica Lange is excited for Season 4 of "American Horror Story."

This season, titled "Freak Show," Lange will play a German woman in 1950s Jupiter, Florida. Her character is the owner of one of the last freak shows still operating in the U.S.

"I'm actually looking forward to this season," she told Entertainment Weekly backstage at the Emmys.

Lange spoke after winning the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie for her work on Season 3, "American Horror Story: Coven."

"This season is going to be the most extraordinary that we've done," she continued. "If it can all come together and we keep on track, it's going to be something really, really special."

"American Horror Story: Freak Show" has been reported to be Lange's last season on the FX series. During the Emmys, however, a reporter "insinuated" that Lange might stay on the show past Season 4, according to EW.

Lange would neither confirm nor deny the report.

"Who told you that?" she said.

Recently, Ryan Murphy, "American Horror Story" creator, revealed the addition of "White Collar" actor Matt Bomer to Season 4. He will appear in one episode. His character has not yet been revealed.

"I try to get him to do everything for me," Murphy told EW. "I sent him a text that said, 'First right of refusal, here's the role.' It's very ... warped."

Another guest star scheduled to take part in "American Horror Story: Freak Show" is Jyoti Amge, who the Guiness Book of Records and Limca Book of Records recognizes as the world's smallest woman at 2-foot-0.6.

R&B icon Patti Labelle will also appear in Season 4 for four episodes. According to a TVLine "insider," the legendary singer will not be displaying her powerhouse singing abilities in any of the episodes.

"American Horror Story: Freak Show" premieres on FX on Oct. 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
