Earlier this week, Beyonce's father, Mathew Knowles, let the world in on a Knowles family secret.

RadarOnline reports, during an interview with Houston's Roula &Ryan Show on 104.1, Knowles revealed that his family intentionally creates drama to increase tour and record sales.

Knowles also insinuated that the Jay-Z/Beyonce divorce rumors are all for publicity and promotion for the couple's "On the Run" tour.

"I know, because we've done this. From experience, there's a tour going on," he said. "So you sometimes have to ignite that tour. It's called a Jedi mind trick. The Jedi mind trick fools you a lot."

As for the infamous Solange Knowles elevator fight -- Knowles claimed that the fight was also for publicity.

He said, "All I know is the Jedi mind trick. Everyone's talking about it. Ticket sales went up. Solange's album sales went up 200%!"

Although Knowles no longer manages Beyonce and despite the rumors of their strained relationship, Knowles also revealed that he and his daughter "still talk."

"We still talk every Sunday. She's still the humble, generous person that she's always been," Knowles said.

This isn't the first time that Mathew Knowles dished on what he claims is the truth behind his daughter's success.

Earlier this month, Houston Community College and Mathew Knowles announced that Knowles would teach a one-day class at the school providing tips on the methods he once used to create a successful career for Beyonce and Destiny's Child.

"I've been in the music and entertainment business more than 20 years and I know how it works," Knowles told BET last month of his qualifications. "I am able to save someone, who wants to know what to do to get in, a lot of legwork and time... time that it took me years to learn."

The course is called "The Entertainment Industry: How to Get In?" and it will run for one day only on Sept. 13 at HCC.
