Aerosmith Reportedly Turns Down Collaboration With Gloria Trevi
Gloria Trevi continues to work on making an English-language album, but she won't be getting any help from Aerosmith.
The two first became friends in 2013 during the Global Warming World Tour, and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler even invited Trevi onto the stage at their Mexican concert in late 2013, notes La Opinion.
Trevi performed "Walk This Way" with the band. The two danced on the stage and generally seemed to get along.
Supposedly, Aerosmith doesn't want to team up with Trevi because she wasn't well received by the Mexican audience.
Trevi has not gotten very far with her next album. Trevi is now on a tour throughout Latin American countries. When she is done, she will be back in the studio.
She also has her new reality show to look forward to, which will air on mun2. There will be 12 episodes, and it follows Trevi during her current world tour.
"A Toda Gloria" has released a trailer that shows the pop star after a concert. She exhales as she gets a moment to herself, but soon her car is driving into a crowd. Trevi said she will be explaining the whole truth about her life in the reality series.
Trevi recently talked about getting her life back on track after going to jail.
"Some people want to be victims or seek vengeance," she said. "Others want to be survivors and happy."
She tried to start over with Armando Gomez, whom she married. Her husband was later kidnapped, and when they were brought back together, she realized what was important.
"Living that situation makes you reevaluate everything, so I can say that the day my husband returned was so that we could love each other intensely," she said.
Kidnappers were looking for $250,000 ransom, but they released Gomez a few days after taking him.
