The comedy drama series "Gilmore Girls" had a successful seven-season run from October 2000 to May 2007.

The series was created by Amy Sherman-Palladino and starred Lauren Graham as the single mother Lorelai Gilmore and her daughter Rory, played by Alexis Bledel (also named Lorelai). It was produced by Warner Bros. and the entire series was made available on iTunes and released on DVD.

Fans of the show who had been wondering where they can watch reruns are in for an early holiday treat as Netflix has snagged the entire series in an exclusive deal with Warner Bros., Variety reports. This encompasses all 153 episodes of the series, which means you are probably going to spend 153 hours watching all of them.

If you do not want to sit through all 153 episodes of the series, Huffington Post made several recommendations of which specific episodes to watch (or rewatch).

Of course, the pilot episode of Season 1 should not be missed for obvious reasons. Also in Season 1, check out Episode 7, where Rory received her first kiss, and her breakup (Part 2) in Episode 17 in Season 1.

For Season 2, see Episode 1 (where Lorelai got engaged to Rory's teacher), Episode 9 and Episode 19. When you reach Season 3, watch out for the comedy and drama in episodes 7, 9, 16 and 20. In Season 4, you'll see Rory at Yale in Episode 2, and Episode 22 brings the moment when she loses her virginity.

In Season 5, Lorelai got together with her man in Episode 3, while in Episode 22 we see why Rory went to jail. In Season 6, say goodbye to Jess in Episode 18 and in the final season, watch Lorelai get proposed to in Paris by Christopher in Episode 7 while Rory received her first ever proposal in Episode 21. Finally, you should not miss Season 7's Episode 22, entitled "Bon Voyage."
