Allegations of illegal drugging at parties in the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Tau Kappa Epsilon chapter have led to a police investigation and the fraternity's suspension. At least two women were hospitalized after their drinks were laced with "roofies" at a party.

Two women were hospitalized following a TKE party because fraternity members allegedly put "roofies," a name for a date-rape drug, in women's drinks, according to the local CBS affiliate.

One woman described how her friend returned from the party.

"One of my friends brought her back, he was just being a good guy, and he brought her back because all these dudes were hitting on her and making out with her, and she was seemingly really wasted," she told the local news station.

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's administration announced on Thursday that it suspended the fraternity as campus police continue investigating the alleged use of drugs and attempted sexual assault, according to Fox 6 Now, the local Fox affiliate. The fraternity had been suspended on "an interim basis."

"We are deeply concerned about these allegations because the safety of our students is our number one priority. Our police are aggressively pursuing this investigation to determine exactly what happened and who may have been involved," the university said in a statement.

However, the fraternity brothers' scheme was more thoroughly planned than anticipated.

Police found two intoxicated women and one man in thr Sandburg Residence Hall on Sept. 12, the night of the party. The women had red x marks on their hands while the man had a black one, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The man had been drugged after drinking from his female friend's cup.

Police also discovered that women at the party could purchase an index card, giving them "all access to the house." However, a woman questioned later said, "You have to be hot" to obtain it.

Another woman told police she became suspicious when the fraternity members removed girls from behind the bar when some wanted to mix their own drinks and that the hosts mixed drinks under the bar and some clear drinks "looked cloudy."

The fraternity chapter's president, Thomas L. Kreinbring, was arrested on drug charges on Friday in relation to Adderall and marijuana found in his possession.
