Since having been granted a temporary restraining order against her ex-boyfriend Matt Prokop, Sarah Hyland is already "bouncing back" from her tumultuous relationship and focusing on work, Us Weekly reports.

"She's a strong girl. I have no doubt she will bounce back from this," says an Us Weekly insider. "She's been through a lot in her life, but she's still an amazing and strong person."

The insider added that Hyland is not looking to date again anytime soon.

TMZ was among the many media outlets that reported on the details pertaining to Hyland's temporary restraining order against Prokop on Tuesday.

According to the legal documents obtained by TMZ, Hyland claims Prokop verbally and physically abused her during the last four years of their relationship.

She claims that Prokop pinned her against a car during an argument they had back in May and began choking her.

"His grip was so tight that I could not breathe or speak. I was scared and in fear for my life," she states in the court documents.

Hyland also claims that following their breakup, Prokop began bombarding her with "vile, threatening and emotionally disturbing texts and voice mails including his own suicide threats."

Her "Modern Family" co-star Julie Bowen was among the few people who helped Hyland "peacefully end the relationship," the court documents state.

The 23-year-old actress has not publicly commented on her recent breakup as per her lawyer's request, Us Weekly reports.

However, Hyland has been actively promoting the latest season of her show, "Modern Family."

HollywoodLife.com reports, Hyland took to Instagram on Wednesday to promote the season premiere of the hit ABC show.

"Tonight's the night!!! Season 6 premiere of #modernfamily on abc 9/8c!!!! I can't believe I've been working with this show for almost 6 years! I love these people with all of my heart and will never forget this blessing of a job. Hope you all enjoy the new season!!" she wrote as the caption for the "Modern Family" cast photo.
