Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez Breakup 2014: Bieber Would Only Marry If He 'Accidentally Impregnates Her'
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez reportedly split because they got into a heated argument about a marriage proposal.
It looks like the on-and-off couple was already falling apart even before flying out to Paris, as a footage of them at the Princess Juliana International Airport in St. Maarten went viral which shows Gomez storming inside and throwing her purse on the floor.
According to Hollywood Life, the fight between the two started because "Selena was expecting him to propose on their trip and he didn't. She was disappointed and when she brought it up, he flipped out."
When the pair was rekindling their romance, the Canadian pop star apparently made it seem like he was going to ask his girlfriend to marry him soon.
"The thing is, when they got back together, he told her he was already ring shopping, it's one the reasons she agreed to take him back," the source said. "Selena wants that security, she is ready to take that step with him and he promised her that he was too, but he was just leading her on."
Another source added that Gomez won't even consider her relationship with the "Baby" hitmaker seriously until he proposes to her: "Oh, Selena was definitely sending Justin a message. Until she gets a ring on her finger, she will never say she is in a relationship. She will continued to play it cool."
However, Justin Bieber is not thinking about marrying Selena Gomez because that would lead them to even more arguments. "There is so much back and forth in their relationship that even if Justin proposed to Selena, which isn't currently an option, he would never go through with it," an insider revealed. "They would fight on wedding details or something else that would ruin things again, and they would have more fights. At the end of the day, he will only marry her if he accidentally impregnates her."
