ABC 'Dancing With the Stars' 2014 Season 19 Cast: Will Alfonso Ribeiro, Erin Andrews, Len Goodman and Karina Smirnoff Continue DWTS? [Video]
"Dancing With the Stars" has had some cast shake-ups and injuries lately, leaving many fans wondering when their favorites will return.
It was previously announced that co-host Erin Andrews would miss "Dancing With the Stars" so she could cover the MLB World Series for Fox, for which she is a sideline reporter. Former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant Leah Remini has filled in for her.
"Congrats @LeahRemini on an amazing job last night...Hearing amazing feedback on her ballroom work," Andrews said via Twitter on Oct. 21.
As the World Series can last for up to seven games, some fans have wondered when they would see Andrews in the ballroom again. According to E! News, Andrews will in fact co-host the Oct. 27 Halloween episode of "Dancing With the Stars" as she takes "a break" from the World Series.
Judge Len Goodman has also been missing for several weeks, having celebrities Pitbull, Jessie J and Kevin Hart guest judge for him. E! News reports that he will return to "Dancing With the Stars" on Oct. 27 as well.
In addition, professional dancer Karina Smirnoff, who was partnered with Randy Couture before being eliminated, will be back on Oct. 27 after missing two weeks because of wrist and shin injuries.
Meanwhile, the future is uncertain for star Alfonso Ribeiro and partner Witney Carson, as Ribeiro exacerbated a groin injury on Monday's episode. The former "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" star originally hurt his groin while doing "The Carlton" dance in an earlier performance, he told People.
"We're dealing with the injury," he said after the show. "We're gonna do the best we can. It hurt a lot, and I hurt it again during the routine which made it even worse. ... It's just been a really tough week."
Ribeiro blames his pain on failing to listen to Caron.
"I opened my hip up too much as you [Carson] told me not to ... and just felt it," he said. "The great thing is now the week's over, and we'll do some healing up."
