The parents of "Parenthood" will face a new set of challenges with their teenage children in the next new episode this Thursday.

In last week's episode, "The Scale of Affection Is Fluid," Max continued to persistently pursue the new girl at his school, Dylan.

During Adam and Kristina's backyard BBQ, Max was interrogated by the men in his family about how far along he's gotten with Dylan. It started when Zeek asked him what base he's reached with her. That's when Crosby jumped in with awkward descriptions about each base, reports Entertainment Weekly.

However, Kristina wants them to stop encouraging Max because she's afraid that Dylan isn't going to be romantically interested in Max.

Later on, Kristina and Adam decided to talk to Max about relationships. However, while Kristina was hinting that Dylan may not reciprocate the feelings he has toward her, Adam was much more optimistic about his chance of hooking up with her.

In the meantime, Amber bumped into a hot new guy at the coffee shop. Although the two had great chemistry, he split as soon as she told him that she was pregnant during their first date.

A promo video for the upcoming episode, which is titled "Too Big To Fail," reveals that Hank will turn to Sarah for advice in raising his teen daughter, who appears to be hungover in one scene.

"I'm out of my league, tell me what to do," he says to Sarah.

NBC released a sneak peak teaser video that shows Sarah explaining to Hank that his daughter has locked herself in her room in order to make him feel bad. Hank admits that he can't handle her teenage drama and then asks Sarah for advice. That's when she suggests that he plan a game night in order to better connect with his daughter.

Meanwhile, Max will get Dylan to hang out with him at his house. In a sneak peak, the two are seen sharing compliments with one another while Adam and Kristina ease drop on them.

According to TV Guide, a synopsis for "Too Big to Fail" states that "Crosby struggles with slow business at the Luncheonette but receives some help from Jasmine. Meanwhile, Hank and Sarah plan a game night; and Drew tries to decide on a major and future career."

Season 6 Episode 6 of "Parenthood," "Too Big to Fail," airs on Thursday, Oct. 30, on NBC.
